I build businesses that matter, teach ideas that stick, and raise a family built to serve others. Atlanta, GA.
"My core purpose is unlocking untapped potential — in the people I lead, the businesses I build, and the men I teach."— Reggie Black
I'm the CEO of Better Way Health, where we've spent years building one of the most trusted beta-glucan supplement brands in the country. My current focus is expanding into B2B — building a practitioner channel that puts clinical-grade immune support in the hands of doctors and health professionals who can act on it for their patients.
I've been an entrepreneur my entire adult life. I love the messy, hard, rewarding work of building something from nothing. Putting the right people together, pointing them at a clear goal, and giving them the freedom and trust to execute. I'm results-driven, direct, and genuinely energized by the people around me.
I'm methodical by nature. I break large, complex ideas into things people can actually apply. I'm not flashy — but I am clear. Clarity is what changes people.
Health. Sports. Research. Every company I've built comes back to the same idea — give people access to something they couldn't easily find before. Better information. Better care. Better community.
Most people have never heard of beta-glucan. That's the problem we set out to fix. Beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucan — derived from baker's yeast — is one of the most clinically studied immune modulators in the world, backed by 400+ published studies. It just never got the marketing dollars that vitamins and probiotics did.
Better Way Health was built to change that. We started direct-to-consumer, building trust one subscriber at a time — no shortcuts, no inflated claims. Just a clean product, transparent sourcing, and real results that kept people coming back.
Today we're expanding into B2B. We're building a practitioner channel that puts BWH-85™ in the hands of doctors, naturopaths, and functional medicine providers who want to recommend best-in-class immune support to their patients. The goal: make beta-glucan a household name through the people patients trust most.
"We didn't want to be in Whole Foods. We wanted to own the relationship — and that means going direct, then going through practitioners who believe in the science."
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has exploded over the last decade — over a million practitioners in the US alone. But finding a good gym was still a word-of-mouth game. Google results were unreliable, Yelp was useless, and there was no resource built specifically for the BJJ community.
MatMade fills that gap. We've built the most comprehensive BJJ gym directory in the country — 8,485 gyms, all 50 states, each with accurate contact info, photos, schedules, instructor backgrounds, and social links. Every gym is verified. Every listing is real.
We're expanding the data continuously through a state-by-state build-out process, combining manual research with community contributions. The goal is to become the authoritative infrastructure layer for how people find, choose, and connect with BJJ gyms in America.
"BJJ gyms should be as easy to find as coffee shops. We're building the infrastructure to make that true."
A cancer diagnosis is one of the most disorienting moments in a person's life. Many patients want to explore integrative oncology — combining conventional treatment with evidence-based holistic approaches — but there's no reliable way to find those doctors. Standard search gives you hospitals. Not specialists.
CancerDoctor.com is a searchable database of 1,000+ integrative oncology clinics and physicians across the United States and Mexico. Patients can filter by location, specialty, and approach. It's free to search, built to be comprehensive, and designed to reduce the friction between a patient and the care they're looking for.
The gap in the market is real: integrative oncology is a growing field, but the infrastructure to help patients navigate it doesn't exist at scale. This is our attempt to start building it.
When we built Better Way Health, we kept running into the same problem: patients and practitioners wanted to understand the science, not just take our word for it. They needed a resource that explained what beta-glucan is, how it works, and what the clinical literature actually says — without a product in the way.
BetaGlucan.com is that resource. No products. No sales. Just a comprehensive, plain-language breakdown of the research — mechanisms of action, clinical study summaries, dosing data, and comparisons between different sources and purities of beta-glucan.
The separation is intentional. One company sells. One educates. That distinction matters to both the practitioners who recommend and the patients who take it.
"If we can't point people to the science independent of our product, we haven't earned their trust. So we built a place to do exactly that."
A book on servant leadership — how putting others first isn't a weakness, it's the most powerful operating system for building teams, businesses, and a life worth living.

I've been teaching at One Thing for Men — a non-denominational men's Bible study in Alpharetta, Georgia — for over a decade. What started as a regular attendee became a recurring platform to teach.
My gift, as I understand it, is taking large, complex ideas and breaking them into things people can actually do something with. Not just understand — apply. That instinct shows up in how I run businesses, how I write, and how I teach.
My faith is central to everything. I'm a member at First Baptist Powder Springs. I'm a husband and a father of six. My family is my most important project — and it's the one that most directly shapes how I show up everywhere else.
The book I'm writing — Others First — is the most direct expression of what I actually believe about leadership. It's drawn from a decade of teaching these ideas to men, and watching what happens when they take them seriously.
Whether you're a practitioner interested in beta-glucan, a builder with a question, or someone who just wants a real conversation — I'm reachable.
